“This is a unique and characterful place to stay, close to Poole Quay. David is super friendly and helpful. He is a font of knowledge on the attractions in the area. Excellent and very filling breakfast in a lovely dining area and you get to meet Bentley too.”

“We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. Being accessible it was on the ground floor and very convenient to the car park. The room was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed two evening meals at the hotel, as well as breakfast both mornings,……

“Very warm and friendly check in and check out. Room was clean and spacious, bed was lovely and comfortable. Little bits of paint missing on windowsill if I'm nit picking apart from that a very nice place to stay. Would recommend as also very close to the beach.”

“Lovely hotel conveniently situated a 5 min walk from beach. Lovely en suite room with all necessary facilities. Good bar food with well kept real ale. My only criticism is that on arrival I found out breakfast is only served 9-9.30 - no good on a business trip when you need to be away at 8am. Had I known this I would not have booked. Staff were apologetic and offered a discount on my evening meal in lieu. Thank you.”

“Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”
