“As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. “We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. Deena was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable and the check-in/out process was seamless. The cottage was well-appointed and the kitchen well-stocked and had everything we needed.
