“It's a cute house, just steps away from the beach. We had a great time enjoying all the sights around town and beach during our trip. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay...Our host was awesome and communicated with me about everything ”

“As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. “The host was nice. The AC was not adequate and it didn’t get above 72 degrees out. There are three houses between this location and the beach. There’s no back door area, it opens up to the road. It is, however on the same side of the road as the bay. The “laundry” is literally a laundromat he told me about when I texted and asked about where the washer and dryer are. It’s really is a decent place to stay. One of the pictures is misleading. It’s a twin bed and a double bed. There’s no outside……

“We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. Deena was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable and the check-in/out process was seamless. The cottage was well-appointed and the kitchen well-stocked and had everything we needed. All in all, the cottage was a perfect……

“First off…our family did have a great time at this property. The location is perfect and being on the water with the huge dock was awesome! We also the loved upper and lower waterfront decks. The hosts were so nice and so responsive. There was an issue as soon as we arrived that he came to the house and we were able to discuss. Having said that, the inside is in need of repair. The living room furniture is very dated and doesn’t look clean. The carpet is need of removal or replacement. The……
