“I made two bookings, very easy but one canceled abruptly and the second turned out to be a non-available property and I did not find out until an before check-in. I was credited 100 for my trouble. I recommend that anyone that chooses this method, to reach out to the management agency or owner immediately to get the actual status of the property.”

“Wonderful home...comfortable, modern furnishings, well maintained, and extremely well stocked. Great base for sites in VA and NC. Not really a neighborhood to walk around, but that was not a factor for our trip. ”

“The house was perfect! It had everything we needed and then some. It was spacious and very clean. It has a beautiful deck/balcony off of the upstairs bedrooms that were so nice in the morning. The owners are so nice and very prompt in responding to you. We had an electrical issue, but they responded quickly and got it fixed. The place has lots of outdoor equipment available for use, bicycles, kayaks, etc. The pier and the water are nice, however, Highway 64 is right in your backyard. It……

“Great location, close to a few good sized towns, not far from the Norfolk airport!”

“This property was an amazing way to experience the historic area. My kids loved their attic bedroom and all the nooks and crannies. We enjoyed the art and especially the antiques that Cliff and Joy used to make the home feel authentically 18th century. Cliff was so kind and spent time answering our questions about the property upon arrival. I highly recommend this space for any family who wants to experience a historical getaway!”

“Properties welcoming, minor issue with the AC and trash not cleared from previous guest. One we notified the host they where all over it with a very quick response to address our concerns. No other issues after that. This host is recommended and we enjoyed our stay.”

“Comfortable overall including beds. Nice view from most rooms. Enough dinning/kitchen space for our group of 7. Back porch/ deck was a plus. The only issue was, the upstairs tub had been repaired and was a little weird but did not leak and when hanging a face cloth on the towel rack, it fell of the wall as if had been previously glued. We all still enjoyed our stay.”
