“Nellie’s log cabin is a real gem! Nestled in the woods on a working farm, this cabin is surrounded by beautiful hardwoods and faces a picturesque pond. It is peaceful and quiet and there is no traffic noise- only the sounds of birds, bullfrogs and chirping crickets. It is very close to Hanging Rock State Park. The hostess is extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns and the cabin upon arrival was absolutely spotless. This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!……

“Beautiful, cozy, quiet and secluded was the perfect little spot to get away for a couple days. Everything was neat and clean and what really caught my eye was the inspirational phrases throughout the cabin. A little piece of heaven on earth!”

“The host was very responsive. The cabin was cute, clean, and easy to make yourself feel at home. The pictures truly does not do justice for the cabin itself. Definitely did not disappoint!”

“We were in town to move our daughter to Winston-Salem. It was nice to have coffee there for our early morning departure. There was not a lot to cook with, so I was glad we were eating out. The shower water is opposite of what I’m used to. Cold was all the way to the left and hot to the right. Just FYI. ”

“Great view! Property is a bit outdated and some of the fixtures are not functional such as fans and screens. The AC was marginal. Host responded within a day or two to communications. ”

“The grill was open 8am -10 pm on Friday and Saturday and they made the best breakfast! Its rare to have such a good place to eat in most campgrounds. ”
