“It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.”
“We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. The restaurant meal and breakfast was fabulous.”
“I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants but this was as good as these. Room was impeccable and staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Every possible detail had been considered, from the umbrella hanging outside the room, to the pre dinner nibbles.”
“The property was clean, smelled lovely, nicely decorated. The room was spacious, bathroom was nice and big. Good shower. Coffee and tea facilities with easy instructions. Easy access to local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and local walks. Breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend staying here. ”
“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”
“We arrived late but David the owner was lovely and very welcoming. We were showed to our room and it was perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was really tasty ”
“Lovely staff and a great room and shower, loads of room. A kitchen available should you want to self- cater. such a reasonable price and I would highly recommend it! 10/10”
“We stayed at Evenjobb Court Farmhouse for three nights while working on a project nearby, and it couldn’t have been better. The house is fantastic, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious, with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were excellent and fully stocked, which made the stay really comfortable and hassle-free. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, very accommodating and excellent communicators from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again,……
“The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. ”
“The wifi is not great. So if you are planning to have some office work, I recommend take 5G device with you. Vodafone 4G worked for us but if you sit near the window.
The cottage is nice and as advertised. However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite). It is bit boring if you plan to spend day inside or on rainy day.
2) The Clun itself has nothing much except for……
