“My family and I had a very peaceful stay here. The house is lived in, clean, and homey. This made me feel more comfortable staying with dogs and two teenagers. The views are beautiful and the quiet and privacy was an added bonus. I really enjoyed walking down to the water in the morning to see the sunrise each day. A few things that could use some care are the grill and one of the TVs. Otherwise, this was a lovely stay.”

“This is a good house in a good location, but has a few problems:1. It needs much, much better lighting. In the middle of a Vermont winter, when we were there, it is dark about 14 hours a day, and yet this house has woefully inadequate lighting. The house needs AT LEAST 2X the number of lamps it currently has. To make the problem even worse, many of the lamps it does have are dim, and many are missing functioning bulbs. 2. Three of the 4 bedrooms are in the basement and they share one……

“The host, Kyle, was fantastic and very responsive. The view was beautiful, the home was very nice and clean. We had a large group, though the house is not very big, the layout worked exceptionally well. There is large grassy play area and a large deck for entertaining the kids. It is right across the street from a fishing/swimming beach that also has a hiking trail.The location was perfect for our group. “We loved that we could walk down to the river and watch the sunset. The new houses look like they're going to be beautiful! The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of traveling! It was a great experience we will definitely return!”

“The house was great, has 2 kitchens fully stocked with almost everything you need. We stayed as a large group and the kitchens were great for feeding everyone! There was plenty of sitting space as well and the rooms were warm. The Game room was next door and a great hang out place for the kids. Overall great for a multi family trip or a group traveling together”
