“We stayed 6 days, my wife, daughter and friend, and our two dogs. Roomy and clean, very beautiful cottage. Fully appointed kitchen with all the supplies one needs. We built a fire in the big handsome fireplace, also with all the tools needed. We appreciated the choice of two dining areas, we pretty much stuck to the breakfast nook. Every morning we dropped the girls at Jay Peak, then myself, wife and dogs, hiked, relaxed, napped and enjoyed the quiet. Would love to do it again!”

“Stowe is a pretty village. But there is nothing going on. Seriously. The entire village shuts down beginning around 6 PM. The main bar shuts down at eight.there are other restaurants nearby that are open later but not walking distance.It’s a very nice and spacious VRBO. Clean and well stocked.The only reason I gave it four stars is because Stowe is lame. Also, the TVs are about half the size they should be. Spend the extra 150 and double the size of the TV. You can barely see it from the bed.”

“Our group of six adults enjoyed our stay very much. The hostess is very prompt to respond to questions. The process was very smooth. We had plenty of room and everything was very clean. Some extra perks -- we could access Netflix. Also, I had forgotten my iPhone cable to charge my phone but there were extra cables in a kitchen drawer! “On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television.
