“Really enjoyed our stay at Stoweflake for our snowboard trip. It's not the newest game in town but it has that classic New England ski lodge look and feel (including a circular layout). That's our vibe and so it was perfect for us. Rooms were large and clean and could accommodate snowboards and gear for 3 people and not feel like a sweaty cramped mess (including a large bathroom). Great for kids with the Indoor heated pool. It has a hot tub (definitely) and sauna (I think) (we didn't use them)……

“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. “My family of 4 (plus our pup) stayed here for a Stowe ski trip. We would definitely return. The place is immaculately clean and fresh (clean, white duvet covers on the beds, fluffy white towels, etc.) and stocked with all basics for your stay (hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, shampoo, etc.).
