“After marrying at the Purbeck Hotel, and having an amazing day, we ditched our normal motorhome accomodation to fast forward almost 26 years to the day to stay here again. It still has the same quirky charm, and John Burt'tastic stone mason salvages a-plenty, and gave us the peace and fantastic night's sleep we were craving. Married with amazing weather, convenience for town, a room looking out towards Swanage Bay, and beautiful sunrises, we had a lovely weekend 👍”

“Excellent location adjacent to the beach, beautiful views, good service, fair price”

“We booked a last minute getaway and we weren't disappointed. We stayed 2 years ago in October. The room was a small double - very comfortable withvrea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was a bit cramped but lovely walk in shower. Highly was being on the ground floor opening on to the garden was perfect for our dog. He could sniff around in the gardens directly in front of our room freely but we kept an eye to ensure he didn't wander off. Dogs aren't allowed in public areas inside hotel but……

“Even before I arrived, Nicola texted me to let me know the room was ready earlier than the standard check in time, and how to get the key from the key box. The location was probably one of the best spots in Weymouth.....harbour one side, beach literally across the road the other. When I arrived, I got the key, and stayed in Room 3. It is compact, with just a bed, sink, TV and complimentary tray......but it was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the window was……

“We were warmly welcomed and given the keys early, and able to drop our bags off, so we could come back when the room was ready and let ourselves in. The room was small but had two chairs by the window which was lovely for looking out at the beach whilst enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. The fridge was great for keeping drinks cool and being able to use fresh milk was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast ingredients were of a high quality. ”

“Anyone who has stayed here before will certainly be a return! the place is spotless, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the location is awesome, our room was a sea view room with a spy glass which my daughter used instead of her telescope and we both had the most amazing stay. “Very hospitable staff and lovely breakfast room overlooking the sea . Prime location. I booked a single room as solo traveller which I can recommend to others. Room well proportioned as sometimes single rooms aren't with ample storage and easy to work hot efficient shower. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Nice decor with good positioned television and tho I'm not used to a single bed. All was forgotten as it was comfortable. Perhaps better than home. !! I used to sell beds so I do know……

“Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea. Bathroom freshly renovated and modern with shower cubicle. The pictures in the listing were taken before renovation and doesn't do the justice. I was impressed with the room. Parking at the back of the property tight but available. Pool table, darts and evening entertainment in the basement. Pleasant stay just staff running around and hard……
