I learned from a local client after our stay how much effort had been put into redeveloping the immediate area by the owners, and now realise how much credit is due to them in keeping the area around the Ironbridge national relic so well kept. “Very good value! Large room in historic pub. Building is full of character with wonky beams and creaky floor boards, and our room had an incredible four poster bed. Everything was clean and linens were all good quality. Bathroom could use some minor retouching but was perfectly acceptable. We stayed in the peak of summer (30 degree days) and did find it was very hot and there was no fan in the room. Trade off between having the windows open to help cool off which also let in a fair amount of……
