“At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.”

“Rauhallisella paikalla mäen päällä sijaitseva kaunis hotelli, jonka huoneista upea näköala merelle, läheiselle Jungle Beachille ja Galleen. Vain muutamia huoneita, joten tunnelma on intiimi ja kattoterassilla/altaalla ei koskaan ruuhkaa. Söimme aamiaisen lisäksi useamman kerran hotellin ravintolassa ja pidimme kovasti. Ainoa miinusmerkkinen asia liittyy syrjäiseen sijaintiin. Iltaisin olisi ollut kiva käydä vielä kävelyllä, mutta pimeällä hotellilta oli vaikea liikkua jalkaisin mihinkään. Aina……

“Dette hotel er noget helt specielt. Vi havde et værelse på 3 sal med egen terrasse. Vi havde et alle tiders kæmpe tre lige uden foran og om morgenen, da vi skulle spise morgenmad, var aberne meget interesserede. Det var en morgenmad, som var inklusiv i opholdet, men det blev bragt til værelset til aftalt tid og man kunne komme med ønsker om preferencer. Tillige fik vi en mygge skåner. Vi havde brug for transport og stedet havde en mand ansat, der gerne kørte os til adskillige oplevelser og endda……

“Nice facility, our room was fairly unique with some fake rock. Our daughter's room had a cool outdoor bathtub. You get great use of two other Thambapanni resorts in the area. Rooms are large and interesting. Very musty. The air conditioner needed to be maintained to keep mildew out. Clothes drying rack, nice bathroom and good breakfast. Super accommodating staff. Unawatuna is a bit of a Russian tourist trap. Aggressive tuktuk drivers and merchants. Jungle Beach nice but crowded. The Sea Waves……

“交谈稍微大声，印度阿三老板居然说 just go back your room！非常的无理，酒店各方面都不差，但是老板对员工以及对中国人极为恶劣，但对欧美人的态度极为倒贴，不愧为有阶层之分的印度阿三，请中国人共同抵制。”

“总体来说酒店很不错，尤其餐厅，早午晚餐都很好吃，这在斯里兰卡很难得。房间什么的都不错，就是热水供应的不太好，隔音不好，晚上隔壁房间的声音听的很清楚，别的都不错。”

“Srimali's Residence has plenty of potential but it's the small things the owners need to look at. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels. Breakfast was OK and the family friendly. When we arrived only two of our three rooms had a towel. Safes were on the tables but not secured so……
