“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm……

“Un petit coin de paradis au cœur de la nature! On a adoré notre séjour à la Villa El Tucan ! Dès notre arrivée, Stéphane et Nillareth nous ont accueillis avec une gentillesse incroyable. Le chalet était super propre, confortable, et les espaces communs bien entretenus. L’endroit est vraiment paisible, parfait pour décrocher. On a eu droit à une petite visite du domaine avec Stéphane, qui nous a montré plein de choses intéressantes : bananiers, ananas, chauves-souris, fourmis coupe-feuilles………

“My wife and I loved this property. 3 adults and 2 children in our group. If you are okay with simple accommodations with great service and beautiful scenery you have to stay here. Grounds were immaculate when we arrived and we were greeted with 2 Toucans as we headed to our cabin. Tons of hummingbirds flying around. This place just felt so full of life! “We only stayed one night to go to Rio Celeste Waterfall. It is walking distance 8 min from the Cabinas. We didn't have to pay for parking!! Marjory was very helpful when asked what else can we do in the area. We emailed back and forth before our trip. Marjory set us up with Henry as a night tour. We saw a Tapir!!! Not too many people get to see a Tapir in its natural surroundings. I would highly recommend to stay here while visiting the Rio Celeste and then go on the night tour with……

“An amazing place with a super staff. They can help plan different activities around the area, and are very helpful with any request. We had a great time staying there. Monkeys and a toucan just outside our room, and we went on a jungle hike to see sloths and other creatures just 10 minutes away. They’re very committed to sustainable living and eco tourism. ”
