“I was expecting more from the room accommodations, because of the price. The restaurant was very nice with excellent service. Pricey as to be expected. However, the room was really dated and mediocre. Almost had a dingy feel. It had two landline phones, one even in the bathroom (lol), and neither worked. I drove around to 3 different locations to find ice, bc 2 out of the 3 machines were broken. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I got a really good deal. The rooms really need some……

“Great Hotel”

“The room was huge - 2 rooms, and 2 bathrooms. Very nice to have so much space - dining table, full kitchen with all items needed for cooking and eating. The bed was adequate, but not the best mattress and the sheets were not good quality. But everything else was great.”

“A gorgeous great house with over 350 years of history. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They make sure you want for nothing. And breakfast is delicious!”

“Colonial houses are an opportunity to stay right in the midst of historic Williamsburg . The location could not be any more convenient. We stayed at Brick House Tavern on the second floor. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated. However the rooms were last updated about 30-40 years ago estimating by the fixtures, etc. The rooms rates are reasonable based on location but are not reasonable based on the out of date locks (old fashioned brass keys) , bathroom plumbing and scarcity……

“This is a quaint property in a perfect location! We were visiting William &Mary and were able to walk to everything from this location. It is super charming and the owner and staff were very friendly! Breakfast was excellent as well!”

“Antique furniture in all rooms were beautiful- palm tree & water fountain out my window were beautiful. Employees with whom I had interaction were very knowledgeable & helpful!! Fantastic place- I would definitely stay there again!!!”
