“We loved the place, quiet, clean and the owners were very nice to us. We stayed only one night. The next morning the lady gave us breakfast and we went our way to La Fortuna. We were able to have a fire pit at night it was very cool.”

“We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……

“Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. The knowledge that Jorge and Herman transferred to me made the stay enjoyable: on toucons, on fungi, on bees.”

“Increíble, la verdad es que este hotel fácil podría ser 5 estrellas, el restaurante súper bien respecto a cantidad y precio, hermoso el lugar, la cabaña nada que decir. Es el lugar ideal para el retiro de escape de la ciudad. Compramos un paquete de spa y el masaje fue increíble, además de que incluía parte de la cena. Totalmente para repetir !”

“Absolutely gorgeous property! Comfy rooms, beautiful views, great staff and really good food. We felt welcome and safe at the gated property. Kids also very thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Would definitely make this a #1 stay next time we come back. ”

“Charming place. The grounds are beautiful. The room was large and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious. There are dogs on the property. Very sweet and friendly dogs, but if you have dog issues be aware.”
