This home was absolutely perfect—quiet, clean, beautifully stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. The fresh linens, snacks, wine, and cozy atmosphere made us feel truly cared for. “Beautiful cabin in woods with view of mtns! Off the beaten path, but still close to anything needed. Cabin is restored from an older cabin, but has all modern conveniences. Highly recommend if looking to stay in a restored older cabin while visiting Charlottesville area.”

It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. “Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ……

“The cabin was beautifully decorated and had every amenity imaginable. The sauna and the fishing pier were a huge hit with our family. We relaxed in the covered porch drinking our coffee in the mornings and hiked in the nearby trails; A perfect family stay. We will be back! ”

“The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional. This is a wonderful place for a getaway. The pools were very clean and well maintained. Check in was fast and easy. The concierge……

I was little disappointed we were not told we had to make reservations for the pool, as all time slots were taken. However there were plenty of other activities to occupy the time. It was beyond my expectations!”
