“We were in town for my grandmother’s funeral and wanted to spend a little time exploring CVille and Monticello while we were here. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and cozy. It was perfect walking distance to restaurants and the mall. We were a quick drive to Monticello and hikes. Beds were comfy. My boys loved the sonic the hedgehog video game on the TV when we were packing up and during a storm that came through. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our family. ”

“We had a great time at the Lake House. The place had everything for our family, each kid got their own room so that’s was one less fight lol- Our dog enjoyed the extra large backyard to run around. We loved the opportunity to do some kayaking - Looking forward to go back for more days! ”

“The sunset sanctuary was the perfect location to stay at. It was perfect because the lake was shallow enough for the kids to stand and deep enough for adults to swim. There was also a beach side that our kids loved to play on. It was also very close to my favorite ice cream location, Tim’s. The location on the lake was prime.The house itself was impeccable. Clean, functional, and beautiful! The house had many large living spaces for the family to gather, while also providing smaller locations……

“Charming. That's the word for this little house. Two very comfortable beds (separate bedrooms) for my friend and me. The big farmhouse dining table was perfect for a jigsaw and the front iving room was bright and airy. On top of all this, there was not a speck of dust anywhere...it was sparklingly clean.I'd book here again in an instant.”

“We really enjoyed the home. It had all of the cooking essentials you could imagine. Quiet, serene, and relaxing. Tip: bring socks, as they request that you don't walk on the light colored carpet. They have tile also, so it wasn't a huge deal. We caught plenty of fish, too!!! Overall, we loved it!”

“Wonderful dock for boats, and we had great waterskiing at the north end of the lake. Incredibly responsive hosts. Home was beautiful and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole large group. Would stay there again!!!”

“We had a fantastic family gathering in this lovely home. It sleeps up to 10 comfortably, which is hard to find. It is on a quiet road in the country. The kitchen is large, has nice appliances and works well for a large family. The most amazing part of this home is the outdoor space and view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are several outdoor spaces set up to take in the views. We have already booked it for our next visit to Charlottesville. ”
