“We had a great time at Mary's home in the woods. We are UVA alums, so it was great to be back at our old stomping grounds. The kitchen was well-appointed and the beds were cozy. The kids didn't like that there weren't any streaming options for them, but the parents didn't mind! ;) Overall, it was a great place to stay with family.”

“In general the property is nice and spacious. The location is great, the view is amazing. However there were a few things that overshadowed the good parts and thus will keep us from booking again. 1) the listing is not accurate. The “double sided gas log fireplace” is not usable for guests. Huge bummer. The kayak paddles were locked up, not sure if that was bc it’s not summertime or if there is some magic key we couldn’t locate. 2) the house was NOT clean when we arrived. There was so much dog……

They do not give you the local agents direct line until the day the rental starts. So many issues dealing with them. “Pillow Talk was a great place to stay! A cozy two bedroom with all the amenities. Right on Main Street and we could walk to restaurants, cafe, and shops! Close to great wineries, yet still in the counteyside. Highly recommend renting this as your base for a few days.”

“This is a gorgeous fully renovated old historic home in walking distance to shopping restaurants and more. One of the few homes we have stayed in that has enough seating for the number of guests. Very comfortable living space and beautifully decorated ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Navel Nalle. Donte’ was so responsive to my call when I couldn’t get the code to unlock the door. He called and reset the lock and we entered. The home has top of the line appliances and updated bathrooms. We loved the artwork. The only issue was when I parked in front of the house - the yard was unkempt - tall grass and weeds. I am pleased that when we entered the home all fears disappeared. The interior is spotless only the yard caused me to give the 4……
