“We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……

“This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. “BEE Suites is located in a generally nice area of San Jose with lots of dining and bar options within walking distance. The area right around the Suites is somewhat of an eye sore. The room is nice and just like photos on Expedia and Google. They don’t perform daily cleaning of the rooms so you will have to request new towels, toilet paper, etc. You can easily get in touch with BEE Suites via WhatsApp, and they will initiate communication with you periodically. “The property itself was beautiful with well-maintained landscaping and cultural murals. The staff were kind, easily approachable, and went above and beyond to accommodate. The rooms, while a bit dated, were highly- functional with the added benefit of a fully complete kitchen and stackable washer and dryer (which you have to supply the dish and laundry soap).
