“The staff were nice and the room was clean. I've stayed in this hotel approx 4 times over the last 2-3 yrs and the only complaint I ever have, and should have brought this up sooner, is the pillows. They flatten and for me, that makes for a miserable night. My brother had the same complaint. Upgrade the pillows and I'll be happy to stay there during every trhip to B,ham.”

“Perfect location for why I came into town. Easy check-in, easy checkout good breakfast in the morning time.”

“Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the continental breakfast was a plus. Cosmetic issues such as tattered bed frames, peeling paint, stains on walls, and the jerry rigged shower rod (by way of cotton swabs wedged between the wall and rod) made the cost of the stay a little overpriced in my opinion. ”

“This HI Express is laid out strangely in the food area- oatmeal toppings are on the other side of the counter making the cutler between the toppings. No recycle or trash can in breakfast area for small items that are messy. Signage not clear for milk, and toaster is opposite from breads. Bed very comfortable. Carpet a little dirty in room - no fault of housekeeping daily person who vacuums- but needed deep cleaning. Staff is very friendly and accommodating- especially Maggie! She was patient……
