“Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. ”

“The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and……

“Our room was very clean and tidy. Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Free.parking on-site. I just can't fault this place, and it is our new B&B of choice whenever we are in this area”
