“Clearly the owner put a lot of thought into equipping this for travelers. The coffee station, especially, wowed my husband and was the best we've ever seen in a rental. The tub worked great. It was very clean, with no bugs seen (unusual for a HI rental—the place we stayed after this had Gregor Samsa for a roommate), and that's a testiment to how well it's kept. “The property is quiet and the house is spacious, very clean, comfortable an has all the basics you need and the host is hospitable. Our issues were with the inaccuracy of the listing and limited response from host when we asked for clarity and pictures of the bedrooms. Although the house is spacious, it is not 4 rooms. It’s 2 rooms with 1 loft and an observatory area that the average person would find very difficult, nearly impossible, to access and use as a bedroom. The “stairs” to the……

We traveled with our one and a half year old and we truly could’ve packed a sack of clothes for him and been aye okay during our stay here with all the great amenities they had stocked up. “Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up.”

“We had an absolutely perfect stay at this sweet hale outside Volcanoes National Park. It was perfectly located right outside the park so you can be an early bird getting there first before the crowds. The place was beautiful situated in the rainforest area outside the park so you got the experience all the beauty and nature the area has to provide. “Perfect! Nice and private home with lots of birds and plenty of parking. Kitchen is well equipped and house is situated between the towns of Hilo and Pahoa. If the volcano starts to fountain you can up there in a quick 35 minutes. Highly recommended.”

“This is a cute little house perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a washer/dryer (we didn't use since we weren't there very long), there is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a fire pit on the deck that would have been nice to use, but the weather wasn't ideal (cold/rainy most of the time).”
