“Quiet serene area. The lodge is cute & the common kitchen has everything you’d need. The views were amazing & star gazing was awesome. Beds were okay. Location is not far from Julian, which is a plus!”

“This was a really lovely place to stay and I wish we had longer at the property. Everything we could have wanted was provided onsite, and it was very close to the town. The only drawbacks were that it was a bit difficult to find (the route is circuitous, and Google Maps doesn't do a great job with navigation), and that we arrived during an unseasonably cold spell, and it was freezing. It would be good to have the heaters on a little to prepare for arriving guests. Other than that, a lovely stay!……

“We had our 3-generation family Christmas vacation in Poway and couldn't have picked a more perfect home/location. Anna (host) was always prompt and attentive to questions/needs before and during our stay.
