“Wonderful hotel next to the pulsating King Street. Excellent room, great breakfast and a fantastic roof top bar. Parking available more or less in the same building as the hotel. I hope to make it back, great base for exploring Charleston, walking distance to a great deal of “must see” places.”

“We have stayed at this inn a number of times over the years. It’s an old in, so you can’t expect things to be perfect. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We could have used an easy chair, as there was only a desk chair. The location is great and you can’t beat the views. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful. The only disappointment was the grounds. There’s plenty of parking - a real plus in Charleston - but the parking lot needs work. Dead trees, unkempt greenery. ……

“As a single woman traveler, I was booked into a first-floor room on the street side. I should have been given a room on a higher floor. Lack of safety bars in the bathroom.”

“Staff was accommodating. Breakfast was decent. Lobby had a good bright space. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion was all dove products, which I enjoyed.”
