“We were here for a few days to explore this part of Wales. This house with self-catering rooms was ideal for our stay. A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso. The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants. There are some great hiking opportunities nearby as well. ”

“First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property which were on a public road and were all full, to me this is not classed as onsite parking, onsite parking is parking designated for the property and owned by the property. There was also a small car……

“My family and I enjoyed the stay at this property. Beds were comfortable, hot showers and plenty of bath water for a long soak after walking up Pen Y Fan which is just down the road. Kitchen well equipped, lots of space at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep which is normal for this type of cottage. There is a lovely outdoor space at the back. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. ”

“When we arrive at the room the room had not been cleaned, there was hair everywhere, the condition of the room, which I took pictures of, was poor and no plug for the bath, I told the staff about the room and they cleaned it and apologised but this should have happened ”

“The studio flat was excellent with a well equipped kitchen and it was all very clean. The "host" Kathryn was excellent at communicating with me - I had a couple of queries and she was VERY responsive and helpful.”

“The house was excellent, we had a family event with most of the family staying at the Clock House, it was roomy, lovely decor, with 3 lounges and a large kitchen there was plenty of space for everyone.. The only negative is the water pressure in the area meaning timing for showers needed to be managed, but talking to Alan, it will hopefully be better as work was going on in the area to improve the water pressure around Nottage.. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future..”
