“Very nice place. Only worry for future stays would be room for trailer parking if more than a couple people bring trailers. Otherwise awesome place in a very nice location”

“We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!”

“We will definitely be staying there again! Staff is very friendly. The cabins are definitely older & they are in process of updating them. The 2 suggestions we have is to include in their resort details that the cabin rentals do not include towels- currently that is not stipulated. (It says towels included). Also to instruct the staff on appleTV. This system is very new to all of them and us & could not get our TV to work. We were ok with that because we spent more time outside but some guests……

“Ended up being a great stay! Was concerned on arrival. Our lodging (Garden view) was behind another building and the lake view was mostly blocked (I wasn't aware of this at time of booking). I asked the property manager if we could move to the beachfront and they made it happen. Make sure you head down to Sunrise Kava Cafe and get some great coffee!”

“This was my first time staying in a cabin with family and the experience here was great. The cabin we stayed at was enough for 7 adults with two bedrooms and a loft area with 3 beds. Just one small bathroom which was accessible via both the bedrooms. Word of advice one of the bedrooms has the bed right against the bathroom wall so be prepared to hear the business of anyone using the bathroom. The cabins are right next to a beautiful lake which you can walk to and there are kayaks available.……

“This was a fantastic, and well kept property. Very spacious for all 20 of us that stayed. Check in was easy, and the host kept great communication. There was plenty of activities to do at the house, and everyone stayed busy with the pool, hot tub, and many games that were provided. ”
