“Perfect for the winter ice fisherman. Big garage to store our gear and everything inside was great. Appliances worked for cooking and the beds were cozy. I will check this place and love to come back next year for our burt/mullet lake trip. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Pines. The property was clean and well-kept. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes and while we didn't end up spending a day there, we were assured we could. We just love Oscoda Beach and Shoreline Park (for Tony's Tacos!) so we spent our beach time at those locations. It was a colder week than usual so we spend more time indoors and didn't have any complaints about the cottage. ”

“We had a lovely time at Marina’s cabin. Everything we needed was available and the cabin was beautiful. The beach was clean, the water was clear. Sergey provided excellent directions and suggested a few places we could visit close by. We were visited by some deer, saw a pileated woodpecker, and a few song birds. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Thank you for sharing this special place! ”

“The place was idyllic and peaceful -- just what we were looking for in a quiet holiday family retreat. There was plenty of kitchenware, towels, and linens for us for a few days. Hot tub was excellent and wifi was quick. It snowed about 4-6" over the first day we were there, and our car had trouble cresting the hilly gravel driveway with all the snow. But that's just our car, which doesn't have 4-wheel drive. Would love to see the space in the summer months!”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! I think what would have made it a little better would be a more comfortable couch to sit on so we could sit together. I’m not sure the layout would allow for that though. The furniture is old. Also light on the back of the house would be helpful and around the drive to the cabin. It was extremely dark coming back at night. It was very peaceful though and the sunset view was absolutely beautiful. Host was really great as well. ”
