“My stay was good, the only feedback I have is regarding the heat in the room. It was absolutely roasting, despite the heating not being on, the window being open and it only being between 14-17 degrees during the days. ”

“I stayed here for one night as I was in the area & the rate for the room was cheap enough for me to stay (. £40 for one night with private bathroom). I found the staff very professional, polite & happy to help. I ate in the restaurant also and enjoyed my meal & cooked breakfast the next morning all at a of reasonable price. However the downside to this stay was the condition of the shower in my room. It was not in great condition and basically unusable unless you held it over you with one hand.……

“A fantastic hotel, in an area of national historical importance. The service from everyone there is fantastic. It's a beautiful hotel where you can take a walk. You may think some areas need further maintenence but the cost maintaining Victorian Gothic style building is frankly very difficult and should get Government grants. It really is an incredible place absolutely steeped in legend and history. ”

“The hotel itself is great. However, the room is incredibly hot so please not that, and there is no AC, so you have to keep the fan on. It’s quite hard to sleep at night due to the noise from outside, and you can hear people partying and singing till 1am from outside. ”
