“We stayed 4 nights in August at the Lagos Atlantic. This boutique hotel of 40 rooms was just what we were looking for in an Algarve beach hotel; excellent breakfast, great pool bar with expert cocktails and a short drive to Porto Mos beach and into Lagos old town. The service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even let us into breakfast early for an early departure to make some take out boxes for the drive to Lisbon. ”

“Everything was perfect! The hotel was spotless, well-maintained, and always smelled fresh. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious with a large balcony, which was a big plus. We had a small issue with the hot water, but it was fixed within an hour — very quick and efficient service. I truly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be coming back!”

“Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Belmar. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber, das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Wir waren in ca. 45 Minuten zu Fuß in Lagos und zum Strand war es nur ein Katzensprung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder dort buchen ”

“Our room was a decent size with balcony. Great shower & big bed!! Pool area was great, just what we needed to chill for a few days. Walkable to the Bouganvilla shopping centre with designer outlets, restaurants and pubs like the fabulous Cheeky Pup!! And a short drive from all the great beach restaurants like Maria’s, Julia’s, Izzy’s etc. Staff were all lovely and so helpful - many thanks!”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“Wonderful resort with all you could need within the apartment for self catering. Safe, clean and the staff were friendly and could not do enough. I enjoyed aqua yoga, a massage and my husband enjoyed a round of golf on the course. The kids enjoyed the many pools which were clean and very well maintained. A little train took you to the beach and back, and supermarkets are less than 20 minutes walk away. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. ”

Our room was spacious, bright, and clean, with a large balcony perfect for relaxing. The host was friendly and very helpful—he provided us with a power adapter we forgot to bring and gave useful tips about local restaurants and shops.
