“First time doing a bed and breakfast and Elsa’s Place did one hell of a job setting the bar high for any future B&B stay. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was solid. I could live off the berry parfaits they made for breakfast. I was a bit apprehensive about booking here since it was not in New Orleans proper but after the first night there I was positive the correct choice was made. I was able to enjoy my days off, had restful sleep and enjoy lovely……

We didn't get a chance to get in the heated pool but it is perfect to host a pool day with friends/family. You will not be disappointed! ”

“The home offered beautiful views of the city, day and night. The location was great! It was only 1 block from St. Charles Street and another for the streetcar pick up. It was 2 or 3 blocks from The Pontchartrain Hotel which had a rooftop bar which gave an even more expansive view of the city. We walked many places, including the garden district, WWII Museum, the French Quarter and also delicious restaurants. The city was working on the street a few days while we were there, but it was tolerable……

“We were pleasantly surprised by this property. It was very cute. Plenty of room for us. The shower is great! We felt very safe at all times. Very walkable to lots of great places to eat and a great brewery. Location is great! We would stay here again. ”

“The place was very nice. The neighborhood is a bit dicey. There were a few communication issues, and the door code had problems though they did get solved. There were enough kitchen and bath items, and that was appreciated. I was offered an additional night at a reduced rate, accepted, and was glad of the offer.”
