“Dining options was limited unlike the other stays like premier Inn etc where we get attractive breakfast. There were no toothpaste and brush set kept in bathroom where they will be kept in most of the hotels. Apart from the above, stay was excellent”

“Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.”

“Highly recommended! Sharon is a lovely lady with a warm and friendly personality. The B&B is decorated to a high standard with lots of William Morris touches in keeping with the style and age of the property. Sharon clearly has very high standards of cleanliness as there wasn't a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and bedding and towels smelled and felt clean. Breakfast was gorgeous with homemade jams and a wide selection including pancakes and waffles if you're not a full English person. Sharon……

“We had the best sleeps in these beds!!!! The breeze through the big windows was a relief. The room was perfect for myself and 2 boys, spacious and everything we needed!!! Breakfast was delicious, the Yorkshire tea brewed in a pot was perfect. Lorraine and Simon are lovely hosts, I would definitely recommend the guest house to my friends. ”
