“The food deserves a review all of its own! Incredible stay, amazed this isn’t a 5* hotel. The staff were also incredible and couldn’t do enough to make the whole experience perfect. ”

Stayed in Room 3 - stunning view over the beach / bay - comfortable 4 poster bed - plenty of power points - heating controlled via App - excelent wi-fi - limited choice of tv channels. Food - plenty of - excellent quality. Staff all very helpful & friendly. Gets full regularly so book early. ”

“Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.”

“Manage booked us in a face that would make an onion cry not a good greeting. All she seemed to be interested in was extra money for the dog £10on top of £95 which the room was not worth it cracked tiles in bathroom .. room was like from the 70s needs some money on it if people are paying that kind of money. Go down to the 2 pubs down the road happy staff and good food also the rooms are cheaper.. Highly recommended the pubs ”
