“Euro 180 is charged for private boat trip but no English speaking guide, no welcome drink or fruit basket in room considering 5 star and nearly 500 euro rate! Breakfast is good. Gym room is opened 9 or 10am, not designed for morning excercise purpose! Room reserved considered to be garden view but in actual, funny hotel back of house view! No show for one room, no consideration for partial refund or extend for future use- waste!”

“Wir hatten ein wunderbares verlängertes Wochenende im Resort Collina d’Oro. Die Lage oberhalb von Lugano ist traumhaft – ruhig, mitten im Grünen und mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und den See. Das Zimmer war stilvoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und bot eine sehr gute Auswahl an frischen Produkten. Auch die Restaurantküche ist empfehlenswert – regionale Spezialitäten in hoher Qualität. “The property and staff were fantastic! The limited rooms and the spacious property. Made you feel like you had the villa to yourself. The staff were attentive and all wonderful. The multiple areas to grab food and drinks made it feel like you were in a different property. The boat ride they arrange was the cherry on top. Spectacular. If you have a chance, stay in the Varenna room. A perfect way to get your Lake Como experience on. Overall, one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at. ”
