“So grateful for my stay here. I was flying in before check-in time and they accommodated me and gave me my room early. It was so clean and pretty. I recommend getting a room with a view! It’s so worth it. The breakfast was delicious! And so was their dinner menu. The staff so so sweet! They gave us a welcome beverage which was so delicious. Honestly just obsessed with this property. Definitely coming back. ”

“Alles in Allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Man sollte einen Mietwagen nehmen, obwohl der Bus direkt vor dem Haus hält. Das guesthouse liegt etwas abseits. Parkplätze auf der Straße vorhanden, schnelles Internet, Satellitenfernsehen, Frühstück kann Vorort gebucht. Super lecker. Eier von eigenen Hühnern, Obst zum Teil aus dem Garten. Abends die Möglichkeit einen Absacker zu genießen. Dass Bier braut ein Freund (eine Bar ist zudem direkt gegenüber). Alle Zimmer Meerblick. Die Betreiber kommen aus……

“Beautiful property up in the hills and mountains above Funchal. The gardens are especially impressive. Large, clean and inviting room. Bed a little too hard and water pressure in sink and shower not impressive, otherwise nothing to complain about. Great breakfast - good selection and quality offerings. Also very tasty food in the bar. Sadly no dedicated personnel in the bar, so quite a bit of waiting time before people would come over from the restaurant. But excellent service once they……

“A great place - set in the cliff tops with amazing views. Great spa facilities, large comfortable beds, superb food, and friendly and efficient staff. The free shuttle buses/taxis to and from the airport, local walking areas and Funchal, meant we didn't have to hire a car, and there were also free e-bikes which were great. Ponta do Sol is quiet, but there are a few bars/restaurants which served great food. ”
