“The cozy cottage was ideal for our short stay in the Dallas area. While located next to the main house at the end of a cul-de-sac, it is still very private with beautiful landscaping and courtyard area. My wife was able to work remotely from the cottage while I was away and loved the nostalgic design of this old cottage. The owners were very nice and hospitable throughout our stay.”

“I visit friends in the upper Dallas region fairly consistently and in my opinion the local hotel properties have gone down in quality while going up in price. This property was far better than a hotel room and I really enjoyed having access to a working kitchen stocked with cooking utensils and a comfy living room and bedroom. Wi-fi worked fine as well for work zoom calls.”

“This beautiful 4 bedroom home is literally a few steps away from the SMU football stadium. We had our SMU 35th reunion, and this spot couldn’t have been more perfect! We enjoyed having a lovely living space, kitchen, bedrooms etc and parking. We loved our morning walks around Highland Park and to coffee at Starbucks! Thank you for a fabulous stay! We can’t wait to stay here again!!”

“Not very large on the outside, this place is all you could want in a vacation home for two, plus fur babies. The outside space is narrow, but well appointed and private. No vistas to admire, but we were there for the April 2024 eclipse, so we saw all we wanted! Inside is comfy and attractive, with lots of considerate touches. A real kitchen. It's worth it!”

“The property was great! Very clean and comfortable! The owner lived next door and was a little invasive and over bearing. We had family that lived in Dallas and every time someone came to the door he would either call or knock on the door. After we arrived he came over rang the doorbell and talked our ears off about the history of the house which took a while when we just wanted to relax. ”

The casita has everything you need for an extended stay and the outdoor space is so nice and a real bonus. Also, great location. Walking distance to historic Main street and the botanical gardens. Loved, loved this place and highly recommend!”
