“Great location as others have stated. We spent our whole trip walking to shops, restaurants, and even the cliff walk and mansions. The place was spacious enough, clean and well appointed. Having off the street parking was great. The window blinds allow light, but keep privacy. Small recommendations…bring a portable fan if you like a fan while sleeping. There were none in the house, nor ceiling fans. AC works very well, but I like air movement and didn’t want the windows open and get too warm.……

“Great location and wonderful stay! Close to everything, including the free #67 bus (in between 2 of the stops), 15-minute walk to 2 grocery stores, darling restaurants and pubs are a block away. Quiet location and spacious for a family of 4. The only small issue was the laundry; it is onsite but not in the unit, you will need to bring quarters and detergent. Newport was one stop on our trip and doing laundry was a key reason for choosing the unit. Other than that, I would not hesitate to book……

“We stayed at Coastal Cottage in Portsmouth, Rhode Island for a week with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, and it was absolutely wonderful. The waterfront view was stunning, and the house had all the amenities we needed, plus a great deck for enjoying sunsets. We even made use of the canoes! Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we created some really great family memories. I’d highly recommend it. Owner is a good host and maintained open communication throughout.”

“100% this was a fantastic stay!! This house had everything we needed, and the photos don’t do it justice. Our group was already discussing coming back next year for a reunion. “This is a really great place! The owners (Jack and his wife) live in the house and this 2 br is an addition behind the house. It backs up to a beautiful yard with bird feeders and flowers. Each bedroom had a window AC unit and fan and was very comfortable. Zero complaints! Jack called me prior to my arrival to ensure he was around when we arrived, and checked in that morning. We would all highly recommend this little cute guest house!”
