“We arrived the property around 4:10pm on 6/9, and realized that the owner or hotel.com didn’t send us the check in instruction, so we couldn’t get in. We tried to contact the owner listed on the hotel.com, but the phone number is out of service. So we contacted hotel.com, they got same info. Eventually hotel.com said they will cancel my reservation and book a new one. Now it is 5pm, the owner suddenly sent us the access code. We finally can got in. But then when we walked in, all beds in all……

“Rat droppings on bed and floor in one of the rooms. Ceiling leaking in one of the rooms. Also the power went out in the middle of the night during our stay..”

“From the moment I pulled up everyone was so nice and accommodating. The only thing is there is no parking except valet, but it is not very expensive. It just would have been nice to know. ”

“We had an amazing stay at The Painted lady. Jing was very communicative and helped with a number of recommendations. We were only staying as a brief getaway and found out Birmingham’s good scene is pretty awesome. I’d stay at this clean, artsy, quirky, cool hotel a million times more! ”

“Room was very nice and clean. Ideal for close proximity to UAB-Highlands. The only problem I had is the key card lock on my hotel room door. I had the hardest time getting in twice to the point where I thought that the key had demagnetized and had them reprogram the key. That was frustrating since I was on the fifth floor, but overall, I would definitely stay again.”
