“A one night stopover on the way back from our holiday. We've stayed here before and were impressed with our room. This time we were in some recently added accommodation, The Stable, and we'd have preferred to be in the main building. The room was fine but since there were others walking past the window, the blind had to be down, so it was either dark, or electric light. We could see into others' rooms as we left.
The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. An 11% surcharge was……

“Only spent one night here but our room was really good (modern and felt new). Had everything we needed and bed/pillows really good. It was hot night but expected it with the nice weather (room did have a small cooling unit and we brought our own fan). Nice bar and restaurant attached. Would stay here again next time we come to Haverhill.”

“The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs. ”
“Absolutely amazing the best stuff around and certainly the best place to stay at while travelling around the whole south east of England. Nothing is ever a problem always comfortable always clean and the staff is so friendly highly recommended.”
