“A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.”

“Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge ”

“Staff are absolutely delightful, can’t do enough for you, I booked 2 small doubles (room was for 1, bed small double, cost was brilliant) bed & pillows/duvet was comfy & I’m fussy about mattresses. The radiator wasn’t on in either room (I think heating was turned off) but radiator was brought to the room & plugged in for when we got back to our room, we had dinner in the restaurant, food was hot & delicious, slept well, had a small cooked breakfast, again delicious.
