“It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous……

“The cabin was so clean and inviting! We chose this cabin because it had two bedrooms with King size beds. The mattresses were very comfortable. The room my husband and I stayed in had a wonderful storage piece so we could hang our clothes and unpack our suitcase and place all our items so we didn’t have to keep getting into our suitcase. We also wanted a kitchen where we could have a refrigerator to store beverages to keep cool and for various snack. The cabin has a nice balcony that looks on……

“There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. ”

“We were beyond happy with the cleanliness of the property and the accuracy of the description. Everything was as described - they even had a crate, dog bed and bowls for our pup. We had ample supplies - plenty of towels, basics and even charcoal for the grill! We will be going back.”
