“Very unique property. Great view. Loved the layout of property. For additional cost provided breakfast basket each day. Town has a well stocked grocery store nearby. Very picturesque village with a wonderful wine bar.”

“Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming.”

Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. My room was clean and good value for the money. They offer a good breakfast! ”

“The house was clean, had all the necessary amenities, José was always quick in his communication, and the location is fairly central on the island (but tucked away in cute Porto Formoso, so it was more low-key and quiet… minus all our rooster neighbors). We loved our stay!”

“The location was very convenient, and in a truly beautiful spot. The convent is a clean and beautiful place. The view from my room to the courtyard was very pretty, and the breakfast was good. The last day, two ladies even brought my breakfast to my room without me even asking- I thought that a very thoughtful gesture. The staff were all lovely, with only one exception- the manager, who I believe, owns the place. I am disabled, and overheard her making a joke about me and disabled people to her……
