“From start to end, it was an extraordinary experience to stay at the Taru Villas Maia. Most friendly service, wonderful room, lovely pool area. Loved the good coffee and tea (and fresh milk!) in the room, very comfortable bedding and the big shower. Food (breakfast & dinner) was also outstanding. We mostly had Sri Lankan dishes and loved it. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Would return immediately!🙂”

“Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. So we did. My understanding was that she would bring all the paper forms to us for filling in. Then she came and asked me to go to the counter, which is about 30 meters away from where we sit. It's fine and I went to the counter. The man at the counter asked me some questions and told me to go back to……

“We stayed in 6 different hotels during our trip in Sri Lanka and this one is by far the best one. Luxury feel with amazing view, spacious rooms and balcony, great service and breakfast. My favorite part is the pool, big with an amazing view of the field and farm. Note that it's almost 1km from the main road so you probably won't go out much. It also means it's secluded, quiet and secluded.”

“My friend and I stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of our 6 day tour of Sri Lanka. This place is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and I wished we had stayed longer. The rooms are elevated and there is a walkway to them . My room are spacious, clean, with a seated area and I had a wrap around view of the forest. We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing. My food allergies was catered for, which sometimes can be a problem. The ambiance of this hotel is lovely and the staff are……

“Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here.”

“食物質数一般，房間很細，洗手間很多蚊，退房後離開酒店4小時，發現漏了一條脛巾，隨即致电酒店，希望清潔工人找到，問了兩次也說沒有，這酒店的員工不誠實，不會再次住宿”

“酒店的位置刚好位于狮子岩和皮杜兰加拉山之间的森林中因为修路的缘故，傍晚过去费了一番周折。不过因为是在森林中与世隔绝，所以住处周围到处都是野生动物的影子各种壁虎蜥蜴、还有飞舞的萤火虫我们是在不绝于耳的虫鸣中入睡的。第二天一早去了酒店后面的皮杜兰加拉山山顶的风光奇美，360度的云蒸霞蔚。简直达到叫人击节赞叹的地步。”
