“Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!”

“Staff are exceptionally good; friendly, interested and professional. Food generally very good - we thought that the evening meals were excellent! One or two relatively minor problems. The problems with our room were swiftly resolved by the excellent reception staff, which was great! In the room we had difficulty getting a refill of decaffeinated pods for the coffee machine, and we did think it odd that a hotel of this standard didn’t have in-room safes. The walls are completely devoid of……
