“We lived the Elbow staff. They aimed to please! Beds were comfortable. The family had a sofa a chair, along with beds which were comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good”

“Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers. Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food. Not much to do in the area, with a pub nearby and some local……

“Another great stay at this wonderful and peaceful hotel. Beware of the dog (charge) - it’s expensive at £25 per pet per night. Otherwise one of our very favourite places to come and relax!”

“This is a lovely hotel. I was made welcome and parking was fine (which can be important). I was given a double room even though I had booked a single, which was a nice touch. Walkable to the centre and lots to see. I visited the Discovery centre and Verdant works. Ran out of time for the V & A museum. I was pleasantly surprised with Dundee and would go back.”

“Gundie was a lovely host. The room was quiet and clean with organic products throughout. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The grounds were exactly what you would picture a Scottish countryside to be…birds chirping, wildflowers abounding and friendly chickens. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. We loved it!”

“Loved our 2 night stay there . We had a Junior Suite which was wonderful with sea view and Juliette windows which opened.. so just like having a balcony. However it transpired when we booked in that there are different types of Junior Suite. The one allocated to us was also wonderful with a separate living are but no Juliette windows . However the receptionist managed to change rooms so we got exactly what we wanted ( and thought we had booked!) Breakfasts were excellent. Buffet starters but……
