“The beds were amazing, the breakfast were fabulous - could have more options on the restaurant menu for the main meals but the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The stay was what I was expecting - quiet and peaceful. A small basin in the rooms to clean mugs etc would be nice but not a necessity. ”

“Tolle Unterkunft in Mitten der Natur. Ein tolles Restaurant mit wirklich sehr gutem Essen und Personal. Die Zimmer (Zelte) sind sehr süß und bieten alles was man braucht. Man muss aber beachten, dass es kein Hotelzimmer ist, sondern ein Zelt. Es war ein schönes Abenteuer und wir konnten viel Energie tanken. Die geführten Safaris zum Addo Elephant Park waren ebenfalls schön, die Reisedauer beträgt ca. 30 Minuten. Wir empfehlen ein großes Auto für die Anfahrt mit Allradantrieb, da die Strecke sehr……

A beautiful lodge with comfortable air con and tranquility (and yes a few necessary spiders) but providing the most incredible authentic experience of the wildlife, animals, birds, flora and fauna of this game reserve. Food and wine were excellent and plentiful, the service was superb, including gin and tonics during our afternoon game drive! Lisa stuurde vooraf handige informatie over de app. Het verblijf lag op steenworp afstand van addo elephant park af en in de buurt waren leuke eettentjes en een supermarkt. De kamers waren geweldig. “Our stay was incredible. Desmond, our guide, gave us some incredible sights and we were really lucky to see 4 out of the big 5 alongside various other interesting animals. The reserve is vast and there is plenty to see, the fact that there are various lodges across the reserve means even if you have a fairly quiet hotel, there are plenty of rangers out doing drives which helps your chances of animals being spotted and your ranger making their way there. The accomodation is lovely, a perfect room……
