“Stayed here for a wedding in nearby Morpeth and was well impressed. The owner and her family were superb hosts, and nothing wax too much trouble. Breakfast superb, rooms clean and comfy, and 72 free parking round the back of the property make it a great base for a long weekend to explore the area. Would happily return!”

“This was our second visit to Charlton Hall and this time stayed in The Tempus. It didn’t disappoint. Everything is well thought out, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We ate in the Orangery a couple of times, both of which were delicious. The staff are attentive and courteous. What’s not to love! We will return! ”

“Booked last minute as we needed to break our journey. Arrived at 20.30 hrs. Staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. As food was only served till 9pm we put our bags in the room and came down for some food. The menu looked good and what we ordered didnt dissapoint. I especially loved the chips qhich were treble cooked. Our room was clean and fairly basic, in a nice sort of way. The bed was very comfortable, i slept right through the night, so what more can you say about a bed. The……

“Ideal for a for short stay. Rooms are small but cosy. Got your bed, television, tea, coffee and kettle. Plenty of storage spaces: wardrobes and drawers. Ensuite bathroom (walk-in shower) as well. A few breakfast options: cereal- help yourself, toast and cooked options available. Parking is limited - they're are some free spaces several minutes walk away. Staff - couldn't fault them. I would stay here again.”

“Hotel really good. Excellent location. A bit disappointed there was no room for us to eat on first night. But hotel was lovely and clean and decor was spot on. Nice there was parking at back of hotel. Would definately stay again.”

“A lovely small hotel in a delightful small seaside town. Walked 10 minutes to the harbour and beach, with a drink in a small bar onthe way back. Very nice meal in the hotel restaurant in the evening. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Great place. ”

“I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We paid 90 pounds for a 3 single-beded room but got a 70 ponds room. The staff said it not possible to chang the room but are willing to return our money back. The staff is friendly but somehow we still frustrated about the negotiations.”
