She actively provided advice on the choice of restaurants in the area and helped us book a table for dinner at Northern Sands. Jane and Richard are nice guys with their lovely cat, Lona. “Very cozy hotel with a fantastic family that runs it and makes you feel at home. Clean rooms with lovely views over the river or a neighboring garden. Quiet location, yet very central. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. Was a bit uncertain when ordering as I read some older reviews, but that was obviously in the past before this family took over. ”

“I really enjoyed my stay. Room was small but cosy. The fire alarm went off when i was eating breakfast, but these things happen. Staff were friendly and helpful and lent me a small screwdriver which i needed. I recommend this hotel”
