“This is overall a very nice hotel, and the room was very comfortable. My gripe is with the wi-fi. It’s hopeless. Disconnects and reconnects constantly, and is incredibly slow. I don’t actually understand how they can make it this bad. You’d have to start with a dial-up modem, but at least that might have a stable connection. ”

“This property was chartered in 1899, and offers an authentic experience. But that is not necessarily a bad thing! Yes, the room was tiny... basically a twin bed and a sink and not much more. But the shared bathroom was fine. Very clean and up to others I have had the enjoyment of sharing. Breakfast (to order) was quite good, but the real draw here is the attached pub, which offered many a fine night of drinking a pint with locals and listening to their stories, and the excellent food. “If you like glamping, you will like this place!”

“Quite an unusual experience for me, eating dinner with the owners, chef and others guests, then relaxing in the sitting room as opposed to spending the evening sat on my bed like a usual B&B. It really made it an enjoyable stay. Everyone was lovely, food was delicious.”

“We actually got moved to the Norseman Hotel as We felt the approach to the property was not the best as loads of pot holes in the road. The property looked like it had been a nursing home, it needed some landscaping outside we felt the security was not good as the main door which was not signposted was open and the room that we were given was unlocked and the door looked like it had had a letter box which was boarded up. The room was clean and tidy but it looked as if nobody was there to help as……
