“Lovely hotel will definitely stay again”

“This was a very unique place and stay. I would recommend for an intimate overnight. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful and the food was really good. Enjoyed our stay. ”

“Pro: A beautiful historic building with a grand stair entrance and sky lights. Some rooms even have bed canopies. Comfortable bed, warm water and heating that you can adjust not much to complain about. Loved the contactless check in. Private showers, linen and towels included as well as free parking. Access to a shared full kitchen. Con: The building is beautiful but old and in need of some upkeep. It is a bit disheartening to see that some of the fixes had a strong DIY feel. ”

“The hotel is in a lovely old building, next to a golf course and the coast, in a pretty village. My wife and I enjoyed our stay there. It is a quiet and comfortable hotel, with good dining. I could imagine sitting out on the front verandah on a warm day, with a cold drink in hand; a very pleasant place to be.”

“The property is lovely this includes the grounds and the cottages. The service was not great. We had to call to inquire about breakfast no one let us know how this worked. We arrived to wait for about 15 minutes with the only two other guests at the hotel to have a sixteen year old boy wait on us. He didn’t know how to make coffee said he doesn’t drink it. Apparently he was left to his own devices at the house, we went into the kitchen twice looking for him to bring additional items. We were……

“We rented three rooms, out of the four available. All were excellent and had a lively time in Tain. Book here if you’re in the area and you won’t regret it! The owners are lovely people and we enjoyed chatting with them.”
