“The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Their attention to detail was highly appreciated. There was a nice fire in the fireplace. The room and bathroom were clean. And dinner, the Balmoral Chicken, was delicious. The best I’ve had in Scotland. Veggies cooked to perfection as well. Highly recommended.”

“Never got a confirmation with lock number and there was no service in the area. Luckily someone from a different pod let us use their WiFi to call the host. Otherwise no issues. We liked the area and the beach that was walking distance ”

“Loved this guest house as so quiet and tranquil. The views are fabulous and the walks from the house beautiful. A hearty breakfast every day freshly cooked all locally sourced. The house is very clean and so welcoming, you feel at home straight away. I would recommend to anyone and shall be staying again.”

“Lovely friendly hotel, it’s a quiet time of year, so although staff was limited we were very well attended to. The bed and breakfast side was perfect, but the evening meal selection was very limited and pretty basic, but it didn’t spoil our stay”
