“Its quaint. Front desk person is nice and friendly. Probably my go to spot when i come to Hammondsport. Its more of a family feel then the other hotels in the area.”

“The rooms are recently renovated. The inside was very clean. This hotel is a work in progress as many others and I hope them all the best in bringing this place up to full glamor once again. I was always brought to small motels/hotels as a kid and now I root for all the people that are trying to keep these older establishments running. I encourage others to give this a stay. “My boyfriend and I have stayed in the yurts a few times and we love it. It’s quiet, right on the lake. The cell reception is minimal (which is a nice break for the both of us) we absolutely love it here. It’s a short drive to penn yan for coffee or shopping or ice cream. Neither of us are drinkers but if you like wine, there are also several wineries nearby. Overall this is a great little getaway that we will keep coming back to. ”
