“We have stayed at Dorian House before so recommended it to our friends as a group booking (8 of us) to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We went for an executive room (6) Tallis. The room was beautiful with a lovely big bed and great view out of the quirky windows overlooking Bath. The welcome and the breakfast were both excellent. The issue we had was with the bathroom. It is shower only. There is a large sign up saying not to adjust the pressure of the shower due to it being an old house and……

“Well run hotel in excellent location, with good parking and nice breakfast / restaurant / bar / outdoor seating. The hotel (or at least part of it) is a grade 2 listed building (dating from 1595). As a result the rooms are quite variable in size and some are up a very steep staircase, so beware when booking. Bar had 3 handpump ales which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent breakfast and evening menus. Town centre is a short 5 minute walk. Overall we were very happy with our stay.”

“Very nice country Inn, well situated near Bath and not too far from Bristol. Lovely room and shower room, extremely comfortable and large bed, the only downside was that there wasn’t a mirror near the hairdryer and not possible to plug the hairdryer in near the mirror. The breakfast was very tasty and a good choice, the first morning we had to wait longer than expected. “Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular!
