“Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. ”

“We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .”

“Nice room with large ensuite. Only stayed 1 night but room was quiet and very comfortable. 20 mins walk to main centre. Only bad thing was roadworks and diversions everywhere but not property's fault!”

“The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect. The room by the courtyard garden was quite cold for a stay in January, the bed had a thin fleece blanket over the duvet, but could do with something thicker for January. Breakfast had a brilliant selection, and the staff were very attentive.”

“As the hotel location information (map and local access info) was about the King's Arms in Colchester town on the Hotels.com website, I initially went there where I was told that I was at a wrong King's Arms and that they did not have any rooms. The King's Arms I had booked turned out to be the one 40-minute bus ride away from Colchester town. The correct King's Arms was a nice place to stay offering great food. My room was fine in size and very clean but adjusting the shower was a little tricky……

“I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to The Railway at Westerfield. Great location with easy access to trains and a large car park on site. The staff are great also, plus wonderful food. Much to like about the Railway Inn. ”
